1 - 5 Site Director
Agassiz Baldwin Children’s Program seeks a creative and motivated individual for the position of site director for the Agassiz Afterschool program grades 1 – 5. The site director is responsible for managing staff, children’s attendance, safety procedures and the facility. Skills needed: excellent communication skills, organizational skills and the abiltiy to multi-task in a dynamic child centered work place.Other responsibilities include: assisting staff with creating curriculum, leading activities and meetings.

Ideal candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 2- 3 years experience working with children and a background in the arts. Positions offers year round employment during school year and summer. Annual salary - $32,000 including benefits. Hours 10am-6pm. Start date: August 25, 2008.

Preschool and Kindergarten Site Director
Agassiz Baldwin Children’s Program seeks a creative and motivated individual for the position of site director for both the Sacramento Street Preschool and the Agassiz Afterschool Kindergarten program.

The site director is responsible for managing staff, children’s attendance, safety procedures, and the facility. Other responsibilities include: assisting staff with creating curriculum, leading activities, and meetings.

Ideal candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and 3- 5 years experience working with children in an early education setting. Skills needed: curriculum development, excellent communication, particularly with parents, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic child-centered work place. Position offers year round employment during school year and summer program. Annual salary - $32,000 including benefits. Hours 10 AM – 6 PM. Start date: August 20, 2008.
